£25.00
This print is of the District G9 sign created by the Glasgow-based artist A Sign of Humour as a homage to the 2009 cult scifi film District 9 about social segregation, racism and xenophobia. The G9 refers to a Glasgow postcode, but unlike most postcodes, it doesn’t apply to a specific area, but rather to post office boxes. The sign is based on the signs featured in the film, but with the addition of the now-traditional road cone to the top of the alien. The print itself is 7.25 inches by 9 inches (18.5 cm by 23cm), and it comes mounted in a white 1.5 inch (3.5 cm) mount with a total size of 10 inches by 12 inches (25.5 cm by 30.5cm). This print is signed by A Sign of Humour.
